XXth Main Report: A competitive order for the financial markets

Main Report of the Monopolies Commission under § 44(1) ARC, 9 July 2014


The Monopolies Commission has submitted its XXth Main Report (Biennial Report) to the Federal Minister of the Economy and Energy. The Report is entitled: "A competitive order for the financial markets".

The Monopolies Commission is an independent expert committee, which advises the German government and legislature in the areas of competition policy-making and regulation. Its role and its competences are set out in §§ 44 - 47 of the Act Against Restraints on Competition (ARC) (Gesetz gegen Wettbewerbsbeschränkungen, GWB).
